Entrepreneurial Leader

Through our Saturday school enrichment programming, one student discovered a passion for entrepreneurship. Supported by experienced mentors and project-based learning, they not only developed a business plan but launched a small venture before graduating high school. This real-world experience, combined with guidance from our Saturday programs, prepared the student for college, where they are now pursuing a degree in business management with the goal of expanding their business further.

A Pharmacy Dream Realized

In our career readiness and mentoring programs, a student with aspirations in pharmacy gained hands-on experience through community service and internships at local pharmacies. Our Saturday school enrichment sessions provided the foundational knowledge they needed, while mentorship helped them earn certification as a pharmacy technician. Today, they are working in a pharmacy, fulfilling a lifelong dream and giving back to their community through healthcare services.

Breaking the Cycle Through Electrical Work

In one of our mentorship programs, we paired a student from an underserved background with a mentor in the electrical field. This student gained essential skills in electrical work, including wiring, safety protocols, and hands-on experience with electrical systems. Through mentorship, the student not only developed technical expertise but also gained the confidence to pursue certification as an electrician. Now the first in their family to enter a skilled trade, they are on the path to a promising career in electrical work, determined to break the cycle and inspire others in their community.
