How We Started

MBEF College & Career Academies, Inc. was established as an extension of the Mentoring by Example Foundation (MBEF), an organization with a rich history of offering mentorship and support to underserved youth. Building on the foundation's legacy of empowering young people, MBEF College & Career Academies was created to expand educational opportunities and focus more deeply on career readiness and personal development. As MBEF grew, the need for a more structured approach to preparing students for careers became evident, leading to the creation of MBEF College & Career Academies, Inc.

Building on MBEF's commitment to mentorship, MBEF College & Career Academies takes a holistic approach by combining academic instruction with hands-on vocational training, leadership development, and community service. Our goal is to ensure that students not only excel academically but also develop the practical skills and confidence needed to succeed in their future careers.

Since its inception, MBEF College & Career Academies has continued to expand its reach, offering innovative programs that prepare students for success in an increasingly competitive workforce. We work closely with local businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations to provide students with valuable opportunities for internships, mentorships, and real-world learning experiences.
